You will own a significant portion of the codebase and lead technical direction for the platform team. Your work involves designing API-based decisioning products that protect consumers from fraud while ensuring scalability and security.
What you'll do
- Own and maintain a large section of the codebase
- Lead technical direction and provide team guidance
- Design and build API-based decisioning products
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Participate in on-call rotation for service reliability
What you'll need
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Experience building API products with Python or Golang
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and efficient query writing
- Familiarity with Docker and AWS technologies
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
- Must currently reside in the United States
Nice to have
- Background in fintech or financial services
- Experience in Agile or Scrum environments
