Join the Payward Services team to build the underlying systems that enable companies to integrate trading, payments, and digital asset services. You will design and scale real-time coordination services and infrastructure that enterprise partners rely on for secure, high-volume transactions.
What you'll do
- Design and implement robust Rust services and libraries for trading and payments
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code for revenue-critical systems
- Collaborate on large-scale distributed systems architecture for low-latency solutions
- Take end-to-end ownership of systems and libraries
- Mentor other engineers and help define the technical culture
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust
- Security-first mindset during system design
- Ability to autonomously debug issues across OS, network, and application layers
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, RPC protocols, and Kafka
- Experience collaborating with product teams to gather requirements

- Experience building B2B products in fintech or crypto
