As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will partner with sales teams and channel partners to address complex customer challenges. Your focus will be on navigating sales cycles, delivering value-based demonstrations, and supporting enterprise proofs of concept to close deals.
You must bridge business and technical contexts, engaging effectively with both executives and technical staff. The role demands a proactive approach to understanding customer architectures and positioning Snowflake against competitive technologies.
What you'll do
- Present technology vision to executive and technical stakeholders
- Conduct hands-on demos and manage proof of concept projects
- Analyze competitive landscape to position Snowflake effectively
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams for feedback
- Map customer business problems to Snowflake solutions
- Perform deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks
What you'll need
- 5-7+ years industry experience with 5+ in pre-sales
- 5+ years building cloud ML and generative AI solutions
- Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in SQL analytics and Python
- Experience with large-scale data warehouse technologies
- Knowledge of ETL, analytics, and cloud platforms
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
- Willingness to travel approximately 30 percent
Nice to have
- Master's in Data Science or Business Administration
- Experience working with Global System Integrators
- Familiarity with Data Lake, Mesh, or Fabric concepts
