Join Snowflake as a Senior Solution Engineer to help customers solve complex data challenges and close large deals. You will partner with sales teams and channel partners to deliver value-based demonstrations and manage enterprise proof of concepts.
This role requires balancing business strategy with technical depth, engaging both executives and technical stakeholders. You will leverage AI tools and deep database knowledge to position Snowflake effectively against competitors.
What you'll do
- Present technology vision to executive and technical audiences
- Conduct hands-on demos and manage proof of concepts
- Analyze competitive landscape to position Snowflake effectively
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams
- Map customer business problems to Snowflake solutions
- Perform deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks
What you'll need
- 5-7+ years industry experience with 5+ in pre-sales
- 5+ years building ML and generative AI cloud solutions
- Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Expertise in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
- Background in Data Warehouse, ETL, and cloud tech
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Willingness to travel approximately 30 percent
Nice to have
- Masters in Data Science or Business Administration
- Experience working with GSIs like EY or Deloitte
- Proficiency with AI code generation tools
