As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will partner with sales teams and channel partners to solve complex customer problems and close large deals. You will conduct value-based demonstrations, support enterprise proof of concepts, and guide customers through the sales cycle.
The position demands a blend of business acumen and technical depth, allowing you to interact effectively with both executives and technical audiences. You will help position Snowflake against competitive technologies while collaborating with internal teams to improve products.
What you'll do
- Present technology vision to executive and technical stakeholders
- Conduct hands-on demos and manage proof of concept projects
- Analyze competitive landscape to position Snowflake effectively
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams
- Map customer business problems to Snowflake solutions
- Perform deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks
What you'll need
- 7-8 years industry experience with 5+ in pre-sales
- 5+ years building cloud ML and generative AI solutions
- Strong background in Data Warehouse, ETL, and analytics
- Proficiency in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
- Excellent presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
- Willingness to travel approximately 30 percent
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Data Science or Business Administration
- Experience working with Global System Integrators
