As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will partner with the sales team to identify merchant pain points and demonstrate how Primer’s unified payments infrastructure addresses them. You will act as a technical consultant, leading discovery sessions and ensuring smooth end-to-end integrations for clients.
The role requires bridging the gap between commercial goals and technical execution. You will translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders while advising developers on SDK implementation and best practices.
What you'll do
- Consult with merchants to identify pain points and explain Primer's value proposition
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and simple language
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, demos, and developer Q&As
- Guide merchants from pre-sales conversations through to go-live and ramp-up
- Act as project owner for complex integrations, aligning stakeholders and mitigating risks
- Collaborate with Product team to identify feature enhancements based on market feedback
What you'll need
- Experience in merchant-facing roles with complex API products, ideally in payments
- Ability to implement frontend SDKs in web or mobile environments
- Comfortable leading discovery sessions and presenting to C-level executives
- Strong project management skills to lead integrations with multiple dependencies
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in fast-paced, scaling environments with shifting contexts
