Join Qdrant as a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical authority for strategic enterprise accounts across Asia-Pacific. You will partner with sales teams to architect real systems, design high-scale vector search solutions, and guide customers from initial qualification through production deployment.
This position goes beyond standard demo cycles, requiring you to own technical outcomes and act as a trusted advisor on AI infrastructure decisions. You will work directly with engineering leaders and CTOs to build proof-of-concept systems that scale to billion-vector workloads.
What you'll do
- Lead technical strategy for enterprise deals from first call to production
- Act as Technical Account Manager for existing enterprise customers
- Design vector search architectures for high-scale and low-latency workloads
- Build production-ready proof-of-concept systems demonstrating performance
- Advise customers on AI infrastructure migration and deployment strategies
- Contribute to field engineering knowledge base and reference architectures
What you'll need
- 5+ years in pre-sales or solutions engineering with data infrastructure background
- Proven track record running technical qualification in live sales cycles
- Experience designing distributed systems or search infrastructure at scale
- Strong communication skills for both engineers and executive stakeholders
- Ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes and deal strategy
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines and modern AI stacks
- Knowledge of structured sales frameworks like MEDDICC
- Experience with vector search or semantic retrieval systems
- Background in Rust, C++, or other systems languages
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, hybrid cloud, or air-gapped deployments
