Join Omni as a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary technical expert during the sales cycle. You will manage complex technical evaluations, build proofs of concept using prospect data, and collaborate with account executives to secure enterprise customers.
Beyond closing deals, you will mentor other solutions engineers and work closely with product and engineering teams to refine the platform based on real-world usage and feedback.
What you'll do
- Partner with sales to provide technical expertise and uncover use cases
- Build and present proofs of concept within the Omni platform
- Enable prospective customers to use Omni effectively with their own data
- Transition trials into successful customers by coordinating with post-sales teams
- Collaborate with product and engineering to guide development via user feedback
- Mentor other solutions engineers and share technical knowledge
What you'll need
- 7+ years of pre-sales or solutions engineering experience in BI or analytics
- Deep knowledge of modern data stacks and cloud data warehouses
- Strong SQL skills for analytics purposes
- Experience supporting enterprise customers in client-facing roles
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Prior experience with modeled BI tools such as Looker is preferred
- Background in high-growth startups (Series A-D) is a plus
