Join tem as a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the Origination & New Products squad. You will drive technical direction for deep Rosso integrations, pricing capabilities, and risk tooling while shaping engineering standards across the Sell team. This hands-on leadership role requires translating ambiguous commercial goals into deliverable technical plans.
What you'll do
- Lead technical direction for new product categories and deep internal service integrations
- Design and build complex components alongside the squad rather than just directing
- Translate broad commercial targets into sequenced, deliverable engineering plans
- Make judgment calls on commercial risk within deal-gating tooling
- Mentor engineers and raise technical standards without owning performance reviews
- Establish patterns and conventions adopted by other squads in the Sell team
What you'll need
- Proven technical leadership at Staff or Senior Staff level with business impact
- Ability to shape undefined opportunities into buildable solutions without specs
- Sound commercial judgment regarding deal risk and revenue impact
- Deep platform fluency for integrating against complex business-critical systems
- Track record of leading teams technically through mentorship and direction
- Influence beyond immediate team by raising standards and unblocking others
- Strong communication skills for engaging with commercial stakeholders
- Proficiency in Python, AWS serverless, and event-driven architectures
Nice to have
- Experience in energy, fintech, or regulated high-stakes commercial domains
- Background in taking products or companies into new international markets
- Exposure to workflow orchestration or real-time pricing engines
- Experience originating new product lines from scratch
