Join Bayesian Health to build life-saving AI tools that empower clinicians with real-time data. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from prototyping to production deployment, ensuring they effectively improve patient outcomes in hospital settings.
What you'll do
- Develop and tune new ML models and labeler systems for clinical use cases
- Write production-grade Python code to implement and deploy models
- Debug data pipelines and trace patient data through AWS services
- Improve prediction timeliness and system performance strategies
- Present model metrics and performance stories to technical and non-technical stakeholders
What you'll need
- PhD in a relevant field with 3+ years shipping ML software products
- Experience owning ML models from prototyping to production
- Proficiency in writing production-grade Python and SQL
- Track record using statistics to evaluate end-to-end model performance
- Experience with real-time algorithms that update dynamically
Nice to have
- Experience shipping 0-1 products using state-of-the-art methods
- Work with messy clinical data for large health systems
- Familiarity with PyTorch, PySpark, HL7, FHIR, or EHR data
- Knowledge of time series data, signal processing, or MLFlow
- Experience with Bayesian statistics or quantile regression
