Join Linear's security team to build and harden security into the product from the start. You will manage vulnerability programs, lead incident response, and secure cloud infrastructure while collaborating with engineering teams globally.
What you'll do
- Operate and automate end-to-end vulnerability management and remediation
- Run the bug bounty program including triage and researcher relations
- Lead product security testing and threat modeling for new features
- Serve as primary responder for security incidents and postmortems
- Harden cloud infrastructure security posture on GCP and Kubernetes
- Build security tooling and automation using AI and LLM technologies
- Partner with GRC teams to align compliance with engineering practices
What you'll need
- 5+ years in security engineering with depth in multiple domains
- Ability to read and reason about code, particularly TypeScript
- Comfortable working in cloud environments like GCP
- Experience leading incidents calmly from alert to resolution
- Preference for building tools over repeating manual processes
- Strong autonomy in setting priorities and escalating when needed
- Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
