As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will oversee the technical strategy for the Partner Integrations team, focusing on standardizing APIs and tools for data sharing and payments. You will collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Sales to ensure technical solutions meet business goals while remaining hands-on in code execution.
The team works on Flex Anywhere and other entry points, helping renters manage cash flow and avoid late fees. You will drive quality and consistency in architecture while maintaining development velocity in a fast-paced FinTech environment.
What you'll do
- Oversee the technical roadmap for the Partner Integrations team
- Work across APIs, SDKs, and Web experiences to build products
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, and Sales stakeholders
- Execute individual contributor work while providing technical leadership
- Drive quality and consistency in code and architecture without slowing velocity
- Design solutions that maximize ROI and deliver significant business impact
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on technical leadership experience
- Experience leading delivery of multiple impactful products end-to-end
- Ability to align expectations with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in FinTech and familiarity with major payment rails
- Experience building integrations with external partners
- Experience working with AWS cloud-based applications
Nice to have
- Experience working with Sales stakeholders or building tools for them
- Ability to thrive in a globally-distributed team environment
