You will design and own the workflow hierarchy across engineering, product, and design teams, using Jira as the primary substrate. The goal is to ensure the system reflects real practice and enables effective delivery through automation and clear processes.
This role involves building agents and automation tools yourself, leveraging AI to enhance efficiency. You will drive adoption by working directly with teams to align their practices with the system, addressing root causes of delivery breakdowns rather than just symptoms.
What you'll do
- Design and own workflow and hierarchy for EPD teams in Jira
- Align Jira configuration with actual team practices and vice versa
- Build agents and automation to run the system using AI tools
- Drive adoption by engaging teams and changing mismatched practices
- Analyze delivery breakdowns and build fixes for root causes
- Mentor teammates growing into more technical work
What you'll need
- Recent experience building and shipping work with AI assistance
- Ability to identify failing mechanisms before selecting tools
- Proactive approach to solving problems without waiting for approval
- Self-directed learning of new tools, especially in AI
- Skill in driving adoption without formal authority
- Accountability for outcomes including post-launch adoption and cleanup
- Real shipped work matters more than degrees or tenure
