As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will partner with sales teams and customers to design storage and data management solutions. You will translate business requirements into scalable architectures for workloads including AI/ML, analytics, and file services across on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Own technical relationships from discovery through architecture sign-off
- Design solutions for file services, backup, analytics, and AI/ML workloads
- Partner with account teams to qualify deals and shape technical strategies
- Create reference architectures, demo content, and solution briefs
- Address multi-site collaboration, cloud integration, and disaster recovery needs
What you'll need
- 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles like Systems Engineer or Architect
- Strong background in enterprise storage, file systems, and unstructured data
- Experience with NFS, SMB, and object storage protocols
- Proven track record leading complex pre-sales engagements end-to-end
- Ability to support hybrid cloud solutions and multi-cloud data management
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud migration and tiering
- Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, or DevOps workflows
- Understanding of ransomware recovery and compliance standards
- Background in capacity planning and TCO analysis
