Join Juniper Square as a Senior Technical Lead to design and oversee the development of high-performance web applications. You will guide engineering teams through the full software lifecycle, from backend services in Python or Java to frontend interfaces in ReactJS.
This position requires strong leadership skills to define coding standards, mentor developers, and implement cloud-native architectures. You will leverage AI tools to enhance product capabilities while ensuring system reliability and security on AWS infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture and design of full-stack applications and cloud infrastructure
- Mentor developers and provide hands-on technical guidance across domains
- Define coding standards, enforce quality, and conduct thorough code reviews
- Architect backend services using Python/FastAPI or Java/Spring Boot
- Develop modern web applications with ReactJS, TypeScript, and reusable components
- Deploy and optimize applications on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes
- Design scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs with focus on performance
- Leverage AI tools to build intelligent features and automation capabilities
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10-13 years of software engineering experience
- At least 3 years in a technical leadership role
- Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI) or Java
- Proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, and API development
- Experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipelines
Nice to have
- Experience building AI-driven applications or integrating LLMs
- Familiarity with event-driven systems like Kafka or SNS/SQS
- Exposure to Domain-Driven Design and clean architecture
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform
- Experience with performance tuning and AWS cost optimization
