What you'll do
- Develop and edit API docs, developer guides, and release notes
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure accuracy
- Test software features using Command Line Interface tools
- Manage document lifecycle including updates and deprecation
- Implement documentation standards and version control via Git
- Own documentation strategy to drive adoption and reduce support
- Identify documentation gaps using user behavior and support data
What you'll need
- 3+ years of technical writing in software development
- Proven expertise in API documentation and developer guides
- Experience with API testing and relevant tools
- Proficiency with Command Line Interface (CLI)
- Solid experience with Git for version control
- Ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Experience treating documentation as a product with strategic priorities
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
