Join Tiger Data as a Senior Test Tooling Engineer to transform release workflows for TimescaleDB and related products. You will build robust testing systems and automate operations to ensure high-quality releases at scale within a distributed team.
What you'll do
- Evolving CI/CD infrastructure using GitHub Actions for core products
- Owning end-to-end release automation for seamless deployments
- Leading packaging processes and collaborating with platform teams
- Designing and implementing stress testing infrastructure from scratch
- Building testing systems to validate performance in cloud environments
- Enhancing benchmarking frameworks like tsbench with advanced features
What you'll need
- Experience as Senior Release Engineer or QA Lead with release ownership
- Deep expertise in modern CI/CD practices and GitHub Actions
- Strong Python skills for automation and tooling development
- Hands-on experience running PostgreSQL in production environments
Nice to have
- Prior experience working with TimescaleDB
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
