Join the Camera Systems Engineering Group to research, design, and develop innovative camera technologies for Apple products. You will collaborate across teams to enhance performance and craft advanced photography experiences for millions of users.
What you'll do
- Lead product and technology development projects for sensing systems
- Research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera hardware
- Perform systems-level analysis and design for new camera features
- Connect use-case requirements to system and component level specs
- Document requirements in Engineering Requirements Specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance camera performance
What you'll need
- B.S. in EE, ECE, Engineering Physics, or similar field
- Experience with magnetic, optical, or similar sensing systems
- Strong fundamentals in analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics
- Proficiency in signal processing techniques and applications
- Implement behavioral models using MATLAB or Python
- Experience with measurement science, calibration, and physical modeling
Nice to have
- PhD in EE, ECE, Engineering Physics, or related discipline
- Over 10 years of industry work experience
- Apply systems engineering concepts and first principles analysis
- Use statistical data analysis tools like JMP for manufacturing data
- Perform magneto-static simulations using ANSYS or COMSOL
- Familiarity with cameras, optics, and control systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
