Join the IT Platform team at Lightspeed as a hands-on ServiceNow Developer. You will own the daily configuration, development, and support of the enterprise ServiceNow instance, working across ITSM and HRSD domains. The role involves extending the platform through custom code and third-party integrations while ensuring scalability and performance.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and UI components
- Design and troubleshoot integrations using REST, SOAP, and Workato
- Monitor platform health and optimize scripts for performance
- Support ITSM and HRSD workflows including Incident and Change management
- Administer roles, ACLs, and security permissions
- Resolve complex platform incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver enhancements
- Evaluate new releases and manage upgrade testing and remediation
- Maintain technical documentation and provide user training
What you'll need
- Hands-on experience developing and administering ServiceNow
- Strong JavaScript skills including GlideRecord and GlideAjax APIs
- Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, and Script Includes
- Proficiency in designing REST/SOAP integrations and OAuth
- Solid understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow solutions
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong communication skills for translating business needs to tech
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Experience with HRSD, ITOM, or Workday platforms
- Familiarity with ServiceNow AI capabilities like Now Assist
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools
- Experience with Service Portal, HTML, and CSS
- Proficiency with Workato or other iPaaS platforms
- ServiceNow CSA/CAD or ITIL 4 Foundation certification
