You will own the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based applications. The team focuses on maintaining stable systems through infrastructure as code and robust operational practices.
Your work includes managing incidents, executing deployments, and strengthening security protocols. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to operational documentation.
What you'll do
- Lead investigation and resolution of complex production incidents
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments
- Execute staging and production deployments for high-impact releases
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Implement security mitigations and support audit preparations
- Create operational documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides
- Mentor junior team members on incident response best practices
- Participate in on-call or escalation rotations as needed
What you'll need
- Advanced hands-on experience with AWS system and network administration
- Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure provisioning
- Experience managing production deployments and troubleshooting issues
- Knowledge of cloud security, permissions, and firewall rules
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or Grafana
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
Nice to have
- Experience with GCP and containerized applications
- Knowledge of AWS Lambda, EC2, or ECS/EKS
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Experience with Twilio services
- AWS certifications or background in CloudOps/DevOps
