You will teach core technical concepts like system monitoring and incident response while supporting career development through resume reviews and interview preparation. This position allows you to set your own hours and rates while working virtually with students.
What you'll do
- Teach core site reliability engineering skills and concepts
- Guide students in system monitoring and incident response
- Instruct on performance optimization and automation techniques
- Review resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles
- Prepare students for behavioral and technical interviews
- Advise on salary negotiation and promotion strategies
- Support networking and freelancing strategies for independents
What you'll need
- Professional experience in site reliability engineering
- Prior experience in coaching or mentoring roles
- Ability to break down complex technical concepts clearly
- Structured approach to teaching practical skills
