You will take full ownership of Sable feature delivery and operational improvements, driving design and implementation for a tier-1 system. The work ensures platform advancement without disrupting production traffic serving Amazon's most critical commerce flows.
This position suits engineers energized by hard distributed-systems problems who pride themselves on operational reality. You will ensure software holds up under the demands of a massive, mission-critical platform.
What you'll do
- Solve deep storage problems like anti-entropy, leader election, and replication
- Drive end-to-end design, implementation, and safe rollout of Sable features
- Participate in on-call rotation for tier-1 services and incident mitigation
