CertifyOS automates provider licensing, enrollment, and credentialing by connecting directly to primary data sources. As a Software Engineer, you will help scale this core platform, building high-quality systems that ensure accurate and compliant provider networks for healthcare organizations.
You will own features from design to deployment, partner with product teams to clarify requirements, and improve code quality and performance. The team values authenticity and accountability, focusing on real infrastructure problems that impact millions of patients.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end feature delivery from design to deployment and support
- Build scalable and maintainable systems to meet evolving product needs
- Partner with product managers to clarify requirements and deliver solutions
- Improve reliability and code quality through strong engineering practices
- Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to operational excellence
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with ambiguity
- Ability to independently define solutions and contribute to architecture
- Track record of shipping high-quality software in fast-paced environments
- Experience with sensitive data, security best practices, and PII handling
- Experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and MCP servers
Nice to have
- Experience with microservices or distributed systems architectures
- Familiarity with healthcare, compliance, or regulated environments
- Experience with Master Data Management or entity resolution systems
- Background in reducing technical debt through iterative refactoring
- Experience improving developer productivity via CI/CD and tooling
