What you'll do
- Design and ship high-quality features that drive business impact
- Collaborate with product and design to solve complex user problems
- Balance rapid iteration with long-term system maintainability
- Improve developer workflows, tech stack, and reliability practices
- Mentor peers and contribute to a supportive engineering culture
- Lead technical direction and architecture for senior roles
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and production experience
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, or GraphQL
- Ability to write maintainable, well-tested, and observable code
- Clear communication regarding progress, risks, and decisions
- Ownership mindset from ideation through to production
- Empathy for teammates and commitment to continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Familiarity with audit, assurance, or risk management domains
- Experience building products or tech stacks from the ground up
- Knowledge of AWS, Postgres, and Hasura infrastructure
- Experience with document-heavy workflow architectures
- Background in ML-powered systems for document understanding
- Understanding of SOC 2, FedRAMP, or other compliance standards
