Bayesian Health seeks a Software Engineer to lead application integration efforts, connecting complex Electronic Health Record systems with their clinical decision support platform. You will work directly with health system clients to ensure critical, real-time data reaches clinicians at the point of care.
The role requires owning the technical workstream of integrations, troubleshooting live issues, and developing automation tools to scale deployment velocity. You will collaborate with implementation leads and clinical teams to deliver seamless production launches.
What you'll do
- Extend full-stack applications across EHR integration surfaces for clinical workflows
- Implement automated integration tests and resolve issues with client technical teams
- Execute production deployments and serve as technical contact during go-live weeks
- Develop frameworks and tooling using LLMs to improve integration efficiency
- Collaborate with Implementation Leads and Clinical Integration specialists on priorities
What you'll need
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years building and deploying full-stack applications with external APIs
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript is preferred
- Strong ability to investigate and resolve application issues end-to-end
- Experience with cloud solutions like AWS or Azure in production
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience writing automated integration and end-to-end tests
Nice to have
- Experience with SMART on FHIR, CDS Hooks, or Epic launch integration
- Background in supporting production deployments via on-call rotations
- Experience working with enterprise customers and their agility requirements
- Experience building internal tooling or automation leveraging LLMs
