What you'll do

  • Design and build backend services for co-branded credit card products and partner integrations
  • Architect secure APIs and event-driven systems for handling sensitive financial data at scale
  • Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to meet regulatory and security standards
  • Own system reliability and performance for real-time credit transaction processing
  • Drive technical decisions balancing scalability, security, and delivery speed
  • Mentor engineers and improve code quality, testing, and operational practices

What you'll need

  • 3+ years of professional experience in backend or distributed systems development
  • Experience building production-grade APIs and microservices in regulated environments
  • Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, Go, or Java
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architecture using Kubernetes and AWS
  • Strong understanding of data security and PCI compliance standards
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with product and risk teams
