Join Bayesian Health to engineer the bridge between complex Electronic Health Record systems and a Bayesian analysis platform. You will design and implement data ingestion pipelines that deliver real-time clinical insights to care teams, directly impacting patient outcomes.
As the technical owner of integrations, you will partner with client engineering teams to resolve data discrepancies, automate testing, and manage production deployments. This position requires strong problem-solving skills to trace data flows and ensure seamless go-live experiences for healthcare providers.
What you'll do
- Design and implement data integration interfaces and ingestion pipelines for real-time clinical data.
- Partner with client technical teams to ensure smooth data flow into the Bayesian platform.
- Develop automated integration tests at the data layer to verify correctness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues during integration testing and production go-live.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for data integration issues during launch weeks.
- Build internal tooling and automation frameworks, potentially leveraging LLMs, to scale integration velocity.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least three years of experience building and deploying data pipelines to production.
- Proficiency in integrating with external APIs, with Python being the preferred language.
- Strong ability to investigate end-to-end data correctness issues across services and storage.
- Experience with cloud solutions like AWS or Azure and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Proven track record of writing automated integration tests for production systems.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and client teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with health data and Electronic Health Record (EHR) system integrations.
- Familiarity with Health IT interoperability standards like HL7v2 and FHIR.
- Background in supporting production deployments via on-call or support rotations.
- Experience working with enterprise customers requiring high agility and responsiveness.
- History of building internal automation tools to improve engineering efficiency.
