Join Cogent, an Applied AI Lab backed by Greylock, to build next-generation AI agents for cybersecurity. You will own the frontend platform that helps enterprise customers visualize and act on complex security data.
This Staff+ level position requires setting the technical direction for a new platform. You will blend deep architectural thinking with hands-on development to create resilient, scalable web applications.
What you'll do
- Establish core architecture and patterns for web applications
- Create reusable component libraries and development tooling
- Design and deliver AI-powered features for security workflows
- Mentor future frontend engineers and set technical standards
- Ensure high code quality and sustainable engineering practices
What you'll need
- Previous experience at Staff, Senior Staff, or Principal level
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript
- Strong background in modern web application architecture
- Experience with frontend infrastructure and performance optimization
- Ability to own projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
