Join Stora's product team to develop features for an operating platform that automates self-storage business operations. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to enhance customer-facing tools and internal systems using a Rails-based stack.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain product features from discussion to deployment
- Collaborate with Product stakeholders to define feature scope
- Dedicate time to improving stability, performance and developer experience
- Write and maintain tests for confident multiple daily deployments
- Debug and resolve issues to ensure system stability during scaling
- Act on monitoring insights to keep the application performant
- Participate in code reviews and team technical discussions
What you'll need
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- At least 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Solid understanding of Rails ecosystem including ActiveRecord
- Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks
- Comfortable working across the stack with JavaScript and CSS
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Minitest or RSpec
- Strong communication skills for discussing technical trade-offs
