As a senior member of the engineering team, you will translate complex customer needs into reliable software using React and GraphQL. You will lead end-to-end feature delivery, set code quality standards, and integrate practical AI-assisted development practices into daily workflows.
What you'll do
- Own design, planning, execution, and testing for large features
- Lead technical discovery and tradeoff decisions within the team
- Mentor L1 and L2 engineers through code review and pairing
- Participate in technical interviews and hiring decisions
- Champion practical AI-assisted development practices
- Identify risks and implement fixes to improve work quality
What you'll need
- 6+ years of commercial software development experience
- 6+ years working with web applications
- Expertise in React and/or GraphQL
- Track record of leading projects from design to delivery
- Experience mentoring other engineers
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Fluency with AI tools and pragmatic application in work
Nice to have
- Experience developing B2B web apps
- Background in the SaaS industry
- Proficiency in PHP/SQL
- Experience with NodeJS/NestJS
- Angular expertise
- Proximity to Charlotte, NC metro area
