Join the Integrations Platform team to build the foundation of Vanta Government Cloud. You will turn federal control requirements into automated, continuously monitored product experiences by developing shared primitives for authentication, lifecycle, observability, and publishing.
This builder role focuses on eliminating barriers to integration creation. You will enable users to connect systems in minutes using declarative, low-code, and no-code patterns enhanced by AI agents, while ensuring secure and reliable operations within the GovCloud boundary.
What you'll do
- Design and own full-stack features and platform primitives for internal and external use
- Deploy, operate, and support integrations within the Government Cloud environment
- Handle monitoring, on-call duties, incident response, and change management
- Contribute to authentication, data-ingestion, and schema-evolution services
- Partner with federal experts to implement continuous-monitoring detectors
- Build secure, scalable services and UIs using TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Utilize AI tools and workflows to accelerate development and operations
What you'll need
- Reside in and work exclusively from the United States
- Authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship
- 6+ years of full-stack development experience
- Experience building reliable, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in RESTful APIs and authentication protocols like OAuth and JWT
- Experience with data ingestion from external systems using retries and webhooks
- Ability to design for scale, reliability, and failure modes
Nice to have
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or FISMA compliance frameworks
- Experience operating in government or regulated cloud environments
- Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP
- Background in startup or fast-paced environments
- Interest in security or compliance products
