Join Siena’s distributed team as a Platform Experience Engineer, where you tackle end-to-end production problems for major consumer brands. You will debug AI agents, identify root causes of failures, and build automation to prevent recurrence, serving as the front door to deeper platform engineering work.

What you'll do
- Trace, reproduce, and fix hard production problems end to end
- Debug AI agents and prompts to diagnose misfires under live traffic
- Build runbooks or tools to prevent recurring issues
- Surface pattern data to Product teams backed by metrics
- Elevate team capabilities by sharing knowledge and documentation
- Escalate genuine product bugs with clean reproductions
- Identify and resolve top recurring failure patterns within 90 days
What you'll need
- Ability to solve problems end to end from vague symptoms
- Fluency with AI agents, prompts, and LLM workflow debugging
- Strong drive to build automation rather than just applying fixes
- Comfortable communicating directly with customers on calls
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Express
- Experience using AI coding tools like Claude Code for efficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with observability tools like Grafana or Honeycomb
- Background in building internal tooling to systematize manual work
- Exposure to ecommerce or direct-to-consumer business models
