Join the Core Engineering Team at Confiant, where you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of solutions that protect the ad economy from malvertising and scams. You will design scalable architectures, debug production issues, and collaborate across product and design teams to ship high-availability systems.
This position requires tenured engineers who can reduce complexity and drive technical initiatives. You will work on both greenfield projects and existing core systems, ensuring quality and trust across digital media platforms while operating in a 100% virtual environment.
What you'll do
- Build scalable applications using well-defined architectural patterns
- Rapidly debug and resolve production issues
- Solve complex technical problems across various domains
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and design
- Implement innovative solutions into current and new products
- Participate in on-call rotation and own problem resolution end-to-end
What you'll need
- Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience
- Expertise in at least one language: Python, PHP, or Javascript
- Deep knowledge of OOD, functional programming, and design patterns
- Experience with frameworks like Puppeteer, ReactJS, Symphony, or Flask
- Ability to work within 5 hours ahead or behind EST
- Broad understanding of AWS and cloud infrastructure management
Nice to have
- Experience in AdTech or Security industries
- Proven experience setting engineering practices and principles
- History of acting as a force multiplier for engineering teams
