You will engineer the control plane for Keycard, handling identity propagation, policy enforcement, and audit logging. The work spans building developer platforms and core product services to ensure deterministic delivery and global scale.
Collaborating directly with founders and product teams, you will help shape an agent-native engineering culture. The goal is to create secure, resilient systems that allow AI agents to operate with verified identities and short-lived credentials.
What you'll do
- Build core systems including identity services and enforcement paths
- Develop Kubernetes operators and CI/CD automation pipelines
- Contribute to core product services and developer platforms
- Ensure deterministic guarantees for delivery and availability
- Shape internal adoption of AI agents for engineering workflows
- Communicate technical plans through written docs and async updates
What you'll need
- Proficiency in Go and/or Rust for platform building
- Experience building developer-facing platforms or internal tooling
- Strong instincts for distributed systems and state management
- Ability to build secure, resilient, and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience making trade-offs in 0→1 environments
- Track record of leading by example and mentoring engineers
Nice to have
- Knowledge of OIDC, OAuth, mTLS, or agent protocols like MCP
- Background in edge computing or globally distributed systems
- Experience with eBPF, service meshes, or WASM architectures
- Hands-on use of coding agents like Claude Code or Cursor
