You will teach core engineering concepts alongside modern AI applications, such as system design and prompt engineering. This position allows you to define your own schedule and compensation while partnering with the Leland team to support student success.
What you'll do
- Teach core skills in software architecture and frontend frameworks
- Guide students in AI system design and AI code review practices
- Instruct on model development, LLM fine-tuning, and prompt engineering
- Apply AI agents and automation to everyday development workflows
- Support career growth through resume and LinkedIn profile reviews
- Prepare students for behavioral and technical job interviews
- Advise on salary negotiation, promotion, and networking strategies
What you'll need
- Professional experience in software engineering is required
- Prior experience in coaching or mentoring roles
- Ability to break down complex technical concepts clearly
- Structured approach to teaching practical skills
- Capability to host virtual sessions effectively
