You will design and draft mechanical components for engineered process gas equipment used in industries such as power, steel, and chemical sectors. Working with engineering and project management teams, you will ensure designs meet performance requirements and delivery schedules.
What you'll do
- Create parts, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks
- Modify DXF and DWG files using DraftSight
- Prepare fabrication packages using Adobe and Excel
- Conduct system design and analysis for functionality
- Collaborate with drafting, engineering, and PM teams
- Ensure on-time delivery of all projects
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5 years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks
- 2–3 years of experience in metal fabrication and manufacturing
- 2–3 years of experience in mechanical or structural design
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling for sheet metal and weldments
- Experience using AutoCAD or DraftSight
Nice to have
- Experience with advanced sheet metal design and complex weldments
- Knowledge of mechanical stress analysis or FEA
- Familiarity with industry-specific codes and standards
- Exposure to design for manufacturability and assembly processes
- Experience collaborating with international clients
- Basic programming or automation experience in SolidWorks
