As a Solutions Architect at Vic.ai, you will translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions for their intelligent automation platform. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping finance teams rethink their operations by leveraging AI to automate invoice processing and improve accuracy.
You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure proposed architectures are practical, scalable, and aligned with platform capabilities. The ideal candidate combines deep accounts payable expertise with strong technical fluency and a consultative mindset.
What you'll do
- Partner with Sales and customers to identify business objectives and pain points
- Lead discovery sessions to translate requirements into clear solution designs
- Design scalable solutions leveraging Vic.ai capabilities and AP best practices
- Act as a subject matter expert on AI transformation for finance processes
- Develop architecture documents, process flows, and requirements documentation
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to assess technical feasibility
- Identify risks and dependencies before they become implementation issues
- Create reusable solution patterns to accelerate future implementations
- Use AI tools extensively for research, analysis, and problem solving
What you'll need
- Significant experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or ERP systems
- Background in Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing roles
- Deep understanding of AP processes including invoice processing and approvals
- Ability to translate business needs into technical and functional solutions
- Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems effectively
- Excellent discovery skills to uncover root causes beyond stated requirements
- Experience with ERP systems and financial data workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated willingness to use AI extensively in daily work
Nice to have
- Ability to navigate CFO-level business conversations and technical discussions
- Comfort with ambiguity and finding solutions without obvious answers
- Experience creating structure and reusable approaches in new environments
- Passion for applying AI to improve speed and quality of work
