As a trusted advisor, you will guide customers through their data engineering and architecture needs, focusing on Databricks ecosystems. You will split your time evenly between billable project work and pre-sales activities, collaborating with sales teams to demonstrate technical value.
You will lead the design and deployment of comprehensive data solutions that support AI, ML, and business intelligence initiatives. This position requires managing multiple accounts, ensuring timely delivery, and mentoring internal teams on best practices in data governance and security.
What you'll do
- Serve as a trusted advisor for customer data architecture needs
- Split time evenly between billable work and pre-sales support
- Design and deploy scalable data solutions for AI and ML
- Collaborate with sales to present technical solutions to clients
- Manage multiple accounts and track project progress
- Architect solutions with strong data governance and security
- Lead internal teams and mentor project engineers
- Resolve system defects and ensure data accuracy via testing
What you'll need
- 7+ years as a hands-on Solutions Architect
- Expertise in Cloud Security, Networking, or Identity Management
- Experience designing data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala programming
- Strong SQL skills for writing and optimizing queries
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform
- Knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Github and SonarQube
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Nice to have
- Familiarity with distributed storage like S3 or Cassandra
- Experience with data integration tools like Spark or Kafka
- Knowledge of workflow orchestration via Airflow or NiFi
- Expertise in automated pipelines using dbt or Spark streaming
- Relevant certifications in Data Engineering or ML
