You will serve as the technical counterpart in sales engagements, mapping client systems and facilitating live build sessions for executives. Your primary output is a detailed 90-day technical roadmap that converts diagnostic engagements into monthly delivery pods. Success depends on accurate scoping, honest estimation, and clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Map unfamiliar mid-market tech stacks quickly without disrupting operations
- Lead deep-dive technical discovery sessions and data structure probing
- Prepare scaffolding for executive live-build sessions to ensure success
- Debug issues in real-time during client workshops discreetly
- Author 90-day technical roadmaps with honest effort sizing and sequencing
- Build fast proofs-of-concept using AI tooling to demonstrate value
- Maintain the opportunity library and improve the AI diagnosis system
- Collaborate with delivery engineers to validate roadmap feasibility
What you'll need
- 4+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or client-facing roles
- Proven experience shipping projects with LLM APIs and agent frameworks
- Ability to reverse-engineer processes from messy, undocumented systems
- Track record of honest scoping and refusing unrealistic estimates
- Excellent written English for creating executive-ready documentation
- Full professional fluency in spoken English for client interviews
- Comfortable working in regulated or sensitive data contexts
Nice to have
- Prior pre-sales experience at services firms or systems integrators
- Data engineering skills including pipelines, warehouses, and dashboards
- Experience handling security compliance and data processing agreements
- Background in teaching, mentoring, or running technical workshops
- Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese for internal collaboration
