Join the Deployed Engineering team at LangChain, where you will serve as the technical front line for go-to-market efforts. You will partner with account executives to help enterprises evaluate, prove, and scale intelligent agents using LangSmith and open-source frameworks.

This hands-on role requires owning the technical thread of the sales cycle, from initial discovery to post-sale architecture advice. You will co-build production-ready AI systems with customer engineering teams and translate field insights into product improvements.

What you'll do

  • Partner with sales to scope evaluations and design proofs of concept mapped to real use cases
  • Act as technical authority during architecture reviews and competitive evaluations
  • Co-architect and build production AI agents with customer engineering teams
  • Help customers deploy and operate conversational and research agents at scale
  • Conduct demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences
  • Advise post-sale on architecture best practices and identify expansion opportunities
  • Surface field feedback to product teams and create reusable code assets

What you'll need

  • 6+ years in solutions engineering, software engineering, or related technical roles
  • Experience owning technical threads in sales cycles including discovery and POCs
  • Ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly to developer audiences
  • Track record of taking responsibility for outcomes rather than just recommendations
  • Bias toward action and willingness to figure things out independently
  • Genuine interest in operating AI agents in production environments

Nice to have

  • Experience deploying AI agents in production using LangChain or LangGraph
  • Background carrying a technical number or working against sales pipeline goals
  • Familiarity with LLM evaluation, observability tools, or guardrails
  • Experience with cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure
