Join Tapcart as a Solutions Engineer where you serve as the technical authority during sales cycles and partner engagements. You will define integration specifications, guide external developers, and ensure successful launches for major brands using the Tapcart platform.
This position requires balancing technical depth with commercial awareness, working directly with merchants and agencies to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions within the Shopify ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Act as technical lead on prospect and expansion deals alongside Account Executives
- Conduct technical discovery on brand stacks including Shopify plans and third-party tools
- Manage end-to-end onboarding for external developer and agency partners
- Author integration specs and review partner deliverables for quality assurance
- Translate recurring customer needs into structured input for the product roadmap
What you'll need
- 3+ years in solutions engineering or partner-facing technical roles
- Strong knowledge of web and mobile commerce architecture and APIs
- Ability to scope ambiguous requests into clear technical specifications
- Experience using AI tools daily to enhance workflow efficiency
- Comfort communicating with both executive stakeholders and developers
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid and Storefront APIs
- Background working at a digital agency
- Front-end or mobile development skills
