Join the Backend Engineering team to design and maintain enterprise Java services for transfer agency and fixed income processing. You will build secure APIs, batch processing jobs, and database-backed functionality while collaborating with architects and security teams.
What you'll do
- Design and build Java services for shareholder records and fixed income events
- Develop REST APIs, batch processing, and database interactions
- Implement secure authentication and authorization aligned with FedRAMP standards
- Ensure transactional integrity and regulatory auditability in high-volume workflows
- Partner with QA, DevSecOps, and security teams to deliver reliable backend capabilities
What you'll need
- Eight or more years of enterprise backend development experience
- Strong expertise with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Security
- Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, Hibernate, and stored procedures
- Proficiency with CI/CD, Jenkins, and Azure-based deployment patterns
- Experience with SOAP, Apache CXF, JasperReports, and Quartz
Nice to have
- Experience with legacy Spring Framework
- Background in high-volume transaction processing
- Prior work in financial services operations
- Familiarity with transfer agency platforms
- Experience delivering in FedRAMP High compliance environments
