Join the Backend Engineering team to design, build, and maintain enterprise Java services and integration components. You will support transfer registration, shareholder records, and fixed income processing workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-volume transaction integrity.
What you'll do
- Develop Java and Spring services for transfer registration and account records
- Design and maintain REST APIs, service orchestration, and batch processing
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and vulnerability remediation
- Ensure transactional integrity and regulatory auditability in high-volume workflows
- Partner with architects, QA, and security teams to deliver reliable backend capabilities
What you'll need
- Eight or more years of enterprise backend development experience
- Strong expertise with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and OAuth2
- Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, Hibernate, and stored procedures
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub or Bitbucket, and Azure deployment
- Proficiency with JasperReports, Quartz, SOAP, Apache CXF, and JMeter
Nice to have
- Experience with legacy Spring Framework
- Background in high-volume transaction processing
- Experience in financial services operations
- Familiarity with transfer agency and fixed income platforms
- Experience delivering in FedRAMP High or comparable compliance environments
