Join Centerfield as a Senior Data Analyst focused on improving profitability and performance across the insurance sector. You will manage the full lifecycle of analytical projects, from defining business questions to delivering actionable recommendations. Working closely with Media, Operations, and Product teams, you will transform complex data into clear insights that guide strategic decisions.
What you'll do
- Analyze lead funnels, campaign performance, and conversion metrics to find growth opportunities
- Investigate performance changes to identify drivers and recommend actions with impact estimates
- Build and maintain SQL queries and Looker dashboards for reliable business reporting
- Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business needs into analytical tasks
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to resolve discrepancies and validate reporting logic
- Automate recurring reporting and monitoring using SQL, Python, and AI tools
- Present findings to leadership and support other analysts through knowledge sharing
What you'll need
- 5+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields
- Strong SQL skills for querying, filtering, aggregating, and joining data
- Experience building dashboards in Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Ability to analyze funnels, segmentation, and trends linked to business outcomes
- Strong communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
- Sound judgment and ability to manage competing priorities independently
Nice to have
- Experience in insurance, performance marketing, or lead generation
- Background in marketplace analytics or contact center operations
- Proficiency with BigQuery, LookML, and Python for automation
