Hims & Hers is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the team behind GoFlow, the core system driving patient acquisition, conversion, and retention. This role combines hands-on technical guidance with people management, ensuring the reliability and scalability of the platform that supports services like Weight Loss and Sexual Health.
You will partner with product, design, and marketing stakeholders to execute growth strategies while fostering a culture of innovation within your engineering team. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in full-stack web technologies and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to foster innovation and continuous improvement
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development feedback
- Collaborate with product, design, and marketing to define growth strategies
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets for timely delivery
- Facilitate agile events including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Ensure quality assurance practices balance speed with high standards
- Drive architecture and reliability improvements for the GoFlow platform
- Anticipate business issues and recommend innovative technical solutions
What you'll need
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in hyper-growth environments
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next, GraphQL, and Node
- Proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams
- Strong background in full-stack development and system architecture
- Experience scaling web platforms for high-traffic applications
- Deep understanding of agile frameworks and project management
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
