Join the Business Applications team at Illumio, a leader in ransomware containment and Zero Trust security. As a Senior HRIS Applications Analyst, you will serve as a Workday subject matter expert, partnering with HR, Finance, and IT to design and build optimized HR system solutions.
You will operate independently to manage complex issues, troubleshoot operational problems, and drive consistency across HR workflows. The role requires an experimental mindset and a focus on using AI tools to accelerate impact and redefine how work gets done.
What you'll do
- Configure and optimize Workday modules including HCM, Absence, Benefits, and Payroll
- Troubleshoot operational issues such as time off inconsistencies and integration errors
- Support inbound and outbound integrations using EIB, Cloud Connectors, and Studio
- Create custom reports and dashboards for business stakeholders via Discovery Boards
- Manage yearly advanced compensation reviews and US Open Enrollment configurations
- Plan and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing for system accuracy
- Develop internal process documentation, playbooks, and end-user training materials
- Mentor peers on Workday functionality, reporting capabilities, and HRIS best practices
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of HRIS experience with hands-on Workday configuration expertise
- Proven support for multiple Workday modules like HCM, Talent, and Time Tracking
- Deep knowledge of Workday business processes, security, and calculated fields
- Strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and APIs
- Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, and web services technologies
- Ability to communicate system impacts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have
- Experience with integration middleware or iPaaS solutions like Boomi or Workato
- Workday Pro Certification
- Experience building solutions using AI tools such as Workday Agents or Co-Pilot
