You will lead Vanta's Security Operations team, overseeing the configuration and maintenance of security tools and infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Security, you will drive incident response, define detection strategies, and ensure compliance while fostering an AI-first, human-centric security culture.
What you'll do
- Lead and grow a global team of security operations analysts
- Define and implement robust security protocols and strategies
- Leverage AI to improve team efficiency and security maturity
- Drive incident response from detection to remediation and prevention
- Identify and implement new processes for the security operations program
- Plan technology-driven approaches to address emerging threats and risks
What you'll need
- Strong leadership experience in security with a focus on transparency
- Experience implementing security controls in SaaS and cloud environments
- Expertise in crafting detections and observability strategies
- Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and compliance standards
- Experience using AI to enhance security processes and efficiency
- Proven track record as an incident commander for security incidents
- Ability to assess security risks considering business and technical impact
