Join Zapier's Brand Studio, a creative team within Marketing that shapes how the brand appears across product and enterprise positioning. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and external agencies to define motion standards and enable other teams to produce on-brand animations independently.
The work focuses on turning UI frames and briefs into compelling stories through motion. You will build component libraries and guidelines that allow the wider organization to ship motion work efficiently without constant oversight from the Brand Studio.
What you'll do
- Produce motion for product explainers, website animations, and social video snippets
- Create motion assets for keynotes, events, and marketing campaigns
- Draft storyboards for straightforward projects to accelerate production
- Build polished product demo animations directly from UI frames
- Define Zapier's motion design language and branded patterns
- Develop motion guidelines, component libraries, and mogrts files
- Explore tools like Jitter and Figma Motion to empower partners
- Create scalable templates for recurring product video formats
What you'll need
- Ability to translate UI frames or briefs into narrative motion stories
- Experience building reusable systems like mogrts and component libraries
- Strong understanding of brand timing, easing, and emotional register
- Proficiency in integrating sound and rhythm with motion design
- Skill in structuring narrative arcs with setup, tension, and resolution
- Proactive communication of creative rationale to stakeholders
- Comfort using AI video tools as part of the design practice
- Ability to move quickly and effectively in ambiguous situations
