Join the cybersecurity advisory practice as a Senior Security Consultant focused on GRC. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leading engagements that translate complex security requirements into practical business outcomes while mentoring team members.
What you'll do
- Serve as a trusted advisor on GRC and security program maturity
- Lead client-facing consulting engagements independently
- Conduct security assessments aligned with industry frameworks
- Facilitate risk assessments and tabletop exercises for stakeholders
- Develop governance models, policies, standards, and procedures
- Support internal audit readiness and compliance reporting
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify client needs
- Mentor consultants and contribute to practice growth
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, risk management, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance
- Expertise in developing security frameworks and operating procedures
- Proficiency in managing cloud security frameworks and compliance
- Familiarity with GRC platforms like ServiceNow, Archer, or OneTrust
- Experience in cybersecurity advisory or internal audit services
- Ability to travel to events up to 10% of the time
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Nice to have
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification
- Experience working for a consulting firm or professional services org
