Join Blackpoint Cyber as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design and maintain scalable cloud and on-premise infrastructure. You will partner with engineering teams to ensure system reliability, security, and efficiency through automation and continuous improvement practices.
What you'll do
- Design scalable infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt for automated provisioning
- Optimize AWS environments for cost efficiency, security, and high availability
- Manage Kubernetes clusters with Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, and Kustomize
- Administer Confluent Cloud and Apache Kafka for enterprise data streaming
- Deploy and maintain Redis for caching and real-time data processing
- Implement monitoring and alerting frameworks using Prometheus and Grafana
- Facilitate feature deployments via LaunchDarkly and PostHog
- Diagnose complex system issues to maximize uptime and performance
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or equivalent
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS cloud architecture and security
- Extensive experience with distributed data streaming like Kafka
- Proven experience with Redis caching and Amazon RDS
- Familiarity with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or ChaosSearch
- Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience administering production-grade Kubernetes environments
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting production systems
Nice to have
- Experience managing Terraform across multiple environments with Terragrunt
- Multi-cloud experience with Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of security frameworks for cloud-native environments
- Experience with serverless computing and CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins
- Software development proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go
